A really interesting section of the Brazos up in Falls, Milam, and Robertson Counties. This segment of the river is noted for an exposure of the K-Pg contact of dinosaur extinction fame, and several interesting shoals- including Curly Shoals and Hamburger Shoals. Other items of note are the enormous leaf impression fossils and marine fossils observed in the area. The put in and take out on this segment are relatively easy. The distance is just over 20 miles and other than the rocky shoal areas has no unusual river hazards. If you are interested in attending, please contact me by email!
