This is a PLACEHOLDER.
The actual event will take place a day or two after a rain sufficient to raise the Caddo Gap gage to 9' or more - we need 7' at time to launch.

This will be a slightly longer paddle than usual - about 17 miles.

BRING:
PFD,
Kayak,
Paddle,
Sprayskirt,
Sunglasses with retainer, Hat, Splash Jacket,
Lunch - water - snack,
Extra clothes and a towel in dry bag

POTENTIAL HAZARDS:
Sweepers, Strainers and Hypothermia (water is pretty cold if you get in it all the way).
Cottonmouths and copperheads should be too cold to be a serious threat unless provoked (your own damn fault) or we get an unseasonably warm day.
