About this event
This is a relatively short (13.5 miles) trip on the Colorado. The put in is beautiful, with a genuine boat ramp and gentle slope. The take out is moderate, with a dirt trail up to a high bank. There is one fairly difficult portage at the Garwood Dam, about three miles above the finish.
This is a nice stretch of river, with at least one active eagles' nest and a few small riffles to make it interesting.
Meet at the Garwood take out at 0800.
