THE PLAN:
3-5 miles of leisurely lake paddling on DeGray Lake’s lower (reregulation) lake, which is also a waterfowl refuge. We will paddle near grasses and reeds and along forested shores. We will look at Buzzard’s Roost, the cypress trees, and a dam or two. There have always been lots of different birds in this area, including bald eagles, egrets, herons, hawks, kingfishers, and sandpipers. Bring your binoculars and long lenses!

NOTE This is a Hot Springs Village Paddlers trip, so I am coordinating for HCC members who attend this event.
