Roughly 19.50 miles on a historic stretch of the Brazos, below Hempstead.

Put in and take out are both a bit steep and bumpy, but manageable.

We'll be looking at some areas of oilfield impacts and screening a few old pits for NORM, plus showing a photographer from the Texas Observer a bit of the lower river.

Currently, both the weather and the river look great.
