For those of you who aren't quite ready for the TWO, but feel the need to add some miles in January here is an opportunity to paddle a bit less than 50 K on the Colorado at a more leisurely pace and possibly see a bunch of bald eagles. This segment is beautiful, and pleasant to paddle. The distance is about 28.5 miles, for those who don't do metric distances.

Meet at Glen Flora bridge on the Colorado at 0800 and shuttle up to the Garwood Bridge. Put in and take out are both a bit steep, but manageable.
