What is this?
Lots of rain lately - the river is up!

I'm thinking of getting a late start to take advantage of the warmer temperatures (56-59) - meet around 10:30 at the takeout by the cemetery, shuffle boats, go to put in, on the water by about 11:15. About 10.5 miles.

Water temperature is cold (about 50). Hypothermia after a swim and water moccasins are the only hazards I am aware of. If not wearing a dry suit or wet suit, come with a towel and clothes in a dry bag.

Regrets are automatic until you let me know that you plan to join me.

If The Caddo River doesn't work out for any reason, we will fall back on the original plan:

We will attempt to tour the "Moose Antlers" section of DeGray Lake that has been eluding us for a couple of months on Wenesday. This has been a challenging section of lake, not because of any inherent dangers or obstacles, but because of changing weather.

Updates and final put-in decision will be sent to those who show interest by emailing me.
