Get the New Year off to a good start by joining us for a day of counting birds on Peach Creek, Caney Creek, and the East Fork of the San Jacinto River. Typical distance is circa 15 miles on the small streams and cypress sloughs around Lake Houston Park. We meet at 0700 at the entrance to Lake Houston Park on FM 1485, east of New Caney.<br /><br />Nothing cures a hangover like sorting sparrows from a boat on a cold, misty morning!
