Brazos River, FM 979 to US 79- Sullivan Shoals Canceled!

When:
Saturday, August 20, 2022, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Where:
We will meet at US 79 and the Brazos at 0800 and shuttle up to the put in at FM 979.

Approximately 22.5 miles on the Brazos, north of Bryan, near Franklin. This stretch has a lot of personality. It includes Sullivan Shoals, the Port Sullivan lock, and the confluence with Little River. If low water levels persist, Sullivan Shoals will be bumpy, but without sufficient push to be particularly hazardous. <br /><br />The put in and take out are both a bit steep, but not obstructed or difficuly. The take out can be a bit muddy.
