Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Columbus Day by exploring Ash Lake, Ijams Lake, and Lower Cedar Bayou. The put-in and take-out for this loop trip will be Thompson Fishing Camp in Baytown. Approximate times for the trip are 10:00 to 4:00. Estimated paddling distance is 7.8 miles. This is an ACA sanctioned event sponsored by the Houston Association of Sea Kayakers (HASK).
