What is this?
This is a recon trip for the Wharton Peach Creek CBC. The stretch to be examined is only about 13 miles, but is likely to be highly obstructed and difficult to follow. It is also really beautiful, traversing the McNeil tract, one of the best remaining botttomland hardwood/cypress swamp in the region. There should be lots of wildlife.
