A roughly 28.5 mile paddle through the First Colony, Riverstone, Sienna Plantation area, ending at FM 1462, near Rosharon. There are no notable hazards on this stretch, which also passes through the Thompsons oilfield and Brazos Bend State Park.

This section of the Brazos has no real rocky or swift sections, but does have good flow. We frequently see lots of birds, large mammal fossils, and are looking for several mussel species that are proposed for listing or species of concern.

The put in is improvised, but not usually too difficult. The take out is steep, but manageable.
