Brazos River, SH 159 to FM 529 -- CANCELED

Where:
Meet at the FM 529 crossing on the Brazos. Take out is on the east bank.

A roughly 20.10 mile, midweek run on a historic stretch of the Brazos. The put in and take out are a bit steep, but not a real problem. This stretch contains the little riffle below Bernardo Plantation and is otherwise free of unusual obstacles. Safe run for composite boats. <br /><br />Please contact the organizer if you have never done a longish trip in hot weather, or if you have not paddled the Brazos before. We will meet at 0730 at the FM 529 crossing and shuttle up to the SH 159 crossing.
