A roughly 30 mile race on the South Llano River, starting in Junction Texas. You race upstream about 15 miles to First Crossing, then turn around and come back down. You have 12 hours to finish the 30 mile course, which ranges from flat water to soft Class 2 rapids. Finish in 12 hours or under, you share in the cash prize pool. <br /><br />Definitely not a beginners race, but if you like a real challenge it's there. This is the fourth year for the race and it is getting a following among those who think the Water Safari is for weenies.
