Special note: in the past we have one time been under siege of face gnats. After swatting the pests for the duration of our paddle we were told that vanilla spice would be effective against them. Thankfully have not had to test that but we know that Deet does not work...

This is a lovely cypress swamp area, mostly shaded and should be a very pleasant paddle.

This event is open to all registrant types, but we do require an up to date waiver on file: AND if you are not a current American Canoe Association (ACA) member, you have the option of joining ACA on a single event basis (cost - $10.00), or becoming a one year member of ACA for $40.00 If you are a member, please provide your trip coordinator with your ACA number. If not, you can join at the event.
