White's Bayou and Upper Turtle Bayou or Lee's Gully - Coin Toss

Out-and-back (no shuttle) - about 7-9 miles - flatwater - fairly sheltered most of the way

We'll start going down White's Bayou until we get to the first meaningful obstruction - probably a mile or so.  This is usually a delightful, peaceful area.  We will likely find ourselves back at the put-in around noon which would be convenient for an out-of-the-boat lunch at the picnic tables.

After lunch, we can proceed north on Turtle Bayou.  This segment has some residential components to it, but is usually very peaceful, as long as none of the residents decides it's time to get out the chainsaw.  Some of the most bizarre cypress configurations are found along this route.

Or we could flip a coin to choose between Upper Turtle Bayou and Lee's Gully - less residential, but more sensitive to low water.
