The Nominating Committee hereby presents the following slate of 2018 HCC Officer candidates:

These candidates will be voted upon at the November general membership meeting.

Commodore - Honey Leveen has been commodore for two years, Committee chair for 50th anniversary, Boatswain for fours years. She is supportive of club members and activities and has a positive can-do attitude.

Vice Commodore - Ann Derby is retiring from this position, and it is open.  If you would like to serve your club, this is an opportunity for you to step forward and do so.
 
Fleet Captain - Natalie Wiest has been fleet captain for two years. She goes out of her way to follow through on her commitments and keep the paperwork in order.

Boatswain - Paul Woodcock has shown his support for the club by accepting many positions in the club, by coordinating great trips, and by sharing his knowledge during meetings.

Purser - Kent Walters is in his second year as purser. Kent has supported the club by coordinating trips and supporting other members to do the same.

Newsletter Editor - John Rich has published the newsletter on-time for 108 months consecutively. He updates the club's paddling history by updating a master list of all trip reports which have been published in the "Waterline" newsletter.

Recorder - Frank Ohrt has recorded the meeting minutes at the officers meeting and the general meeting for four years and we have enjoyed his special brand of humor.
