7:05: The Commodore called the meeting to order, several times, and introduced the club officers. John Rich was absent. There was speculation that he was ice-boating on Lake Louise.

7:08: For the Safety Minute, the Commodore suggested we all check out our first-aid and survival kits to be sure the contents were fresh, up to date, and therefore useful.

7:12:Honey Leveen gave a wrap-up of the 50th anniversary celebration. It was declared a great success. Everyone was thanked.

7:18: The Purser reported and showed the the proposed budget for 2015. He pointed out that the club had a small surplus from 2014, and noted an increase in membership in the past year. Acceptance of the 2015 budget was moved, seconded, and approved by the members present.

7:23: The Bo'sun introduced Jessica Kuhn, a first time visitor.

7:25: The Fleet Captain called for trip reports, and they were duly given. Upcoming trips were announced.

7:46: Christy Long, of the officer's nominating committee, announced the nominees for the coming year. No nominations were offered from the floor. The officer's list was approved by the members. There was general relief that there was a full slate. Celebration by the new officers was allowed.

7:50: The Commodore announced the annual Christmas party, and asked for volunteers to help set up the room. There were plenty of volunteers.

7:56: For the Conservation report, Frank Ohrt spoke about plans for the restoration of the Woodway put-in on Buffalo Bayou. John Bartos and Tom Douglas spoke about the proposed Buffalo Bayou Demonstration Project.

8:10: Bruce Bodson gave the featured talk about participation, by boat, in upcoming Audubon Christmas Bird Counts. The counts in which he participates are the Trinity River, Old River, and San Jacinto Wilderness.
