The club asked our long-time member, former Commodore and professional artist Ann Derby to design a special 50th anniversary logo. Ann kindly obliged, at no cost, and presented the board with two logos (attached). Ann: thank you so much! We are grateful to you for this.
At our annual holiday party, club members were asked to vote on the logo they preferred. Choice number two won.
HCC is working with
Mona T-Shirt, 9410 Harwin Drive, Suite AA, 713-266-4343, to create special HCC 50th anniversary logo apparel for our members. Mona T-Shirt is open until 6 PM weekdays and is pretty close to Bayland Park, where HCC meets.
Mona has a very large inventory featuring any and every type of blank logo apparel imaginable. They have women’s and men’s crew neck, V-neck, long-sleeve, short-sleeve, hoodies, and caps. They have them in all sizes and colors.
HCC members can choose the color, size, and type of apparel they would like to have printed with HCC’s 50th anniversary logo.
Members can go to Mona directly to select the apparel they want logo-ed. If you do this, I recommend asking Mona to put aside the item for you, so that you’ll save money. You can order your items directly from Mona and get them faster but this will cost more. Our goal is to wait until we have at least 7 items to get printed. At that point, prices drop from $23 to $15 per item.
I will also be taking t-shirt orders at HCC meetings. I will have samples of small and medium size t-shirts, but I will not have all the colors available.
