At the HCC officers meeting on April 4th, Purser Harmon Everett proposed an expenditure of about $25 of club money for the purchase of a pair of computer speakers.  These speakers will be connected to whatever laptop computer gets attached to the club video projector to provide sufficient audio to be heard around the conference room, along with any video presentation that is being displayed.  The officers unanimously approved the idea and the expenditure.

At the very next general membership meeting on April 11th, Harmon deployed the new speakers into action, for his audio-video presentation about the history of canoeing.
