There are 2 upcoming paddles coming up next month. Both are happening on May 6th.
The first is the Neches River Rally near Beaumont. It has been moved from September to May this year. It’s an easy, fun 4 mile paddle on the Neches. It starts at the LVNA Saltwater Barrier. Early registration ends on April 12th. This is a fundraiser for the Big Thicket Association. I will be doing this paddle and will report club mileage

The second paddle is the Goliad Spring Flotilla. This is a free paddle on the San Antonio river. There is a shuttle and volunteers who will assist you in and out of your boat. It is a 6.5 mile float. Contact Canoetrailgoliad. It’s a great paddle.
