This note will confirm that the Champion Lake paddle originally scheduled for tomorrow, 4/27/24 is CANCELED.
The TRNWR office has temporarily closed the Refuge due to high water (the pier is underwater!).
I have rescheduled the trip to next week, 5/4/24, same time same place. A revised posting is now available on the website. If interested, please proceed to register.
The Trinity at Liberty was running at about 31,300 cfs yesterday, and is currently at 29,600. It is expected to continue to decline below the magic overflow number of around 20,000. I'll stay in touch with the refuge office and keep you posted mid week.
