Well, no need to wait any longer. It's going to be pretty frosty on Christmas morning (mid 30s, partly cloudy), so the paddle is cancelled. Natalie Wiest has suggested we meet for a brisk walk instead, and Liz D. and I agree. If you want to join us, the more the merrier. I'm not sure yet just where we will meet, but we'll walk as far as the temperature allows. Maybe along the Buffalo Bayou hike-and-bike trail, maybe in the woods at Memorial Park. I'll go with the majority. Bring Santa hats, and a thermos full of something hot.
