A nice 23 mile stretch of the Brazos from San Felipe to Simonton, TX. This stretch contains several of the lowest rapids on the river- four on the first roughly five miles. The put in and take out can be difficult, but are always manageable. The birding and fossil hunting is entertaining. We have run this in everything from race boats to whitewater boats with no problem. It's a nice stretch to experience the river.
