San Marcos River Cleanup

The San Marcos River Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, March 5th.
As in the past, we (members of the Houston Canoe Club and guests) will
clean the section between San Marcos River Retreat (Formerly Pecan
Park) and Shady Grove Campground.
Tentatively I
plan to camp Friday and Saturday night at San Marcos River Retreat.
Traditionally, camping has been free for this event and all participants
have been treated to dinner Saturday night. Details are not yet
available but I assume things will be the same this year. So mark your
