Hey Guys: Wonderful day, Saturday July 10, for a paddle at Stubblefield Lake off of the West San Jacinto River in the Sam Houston National Forest. Dave Kitson, Natalie Weist, Dana Enos, Sondra Fabian, Paul Woodcock and myself - Mary Zaborowski had a great time paddling 8 miles up and back the West San Jacinto River that morning. Saw many a fish jump, gars, blue herons, and a baby fawn swimming on the edge of the water to get to shore with it's mom in the bushes. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Good water flow and beautiful blue sky... yes sun!!!! Paddle back to have a POT LUCK "Feast" lunch. Good Friends to talk of paddling days of the past and of future trips.
