Sam invited our neighbors, Terry and his grandson, Michael, and gave them a couple of his kayaks to try out. We are doing some soft recruiting for the club. Sam picked me up at 7:00 AM and we made it to the state park by 7:15. We were on the water at 7:30.
It was early enough to be a nice day, and the water was higher than it has been in the lake for quite some time. There was none of the barren shore that has been evident since the beginning of the year.
We saw quite a few of these hibiscus flowers
