This is a short, small canoe, designed to be paddled kayak-style

EPI Sea |
Description: |
|
Like above, made for smaller
paddlers. I’ve paddled this one myself on several occasions, and was
amazed at how fast it was (kept up easily with much larger sea kayaks).
I’ve put novice paddlers in this boat and they had little trouble with
it – managed to stay upright and it tracked quite well. Built on the
lines of a Greenland-style kayak. It’s dark green with some swirls of
other colors. Limit to usage is, shall we say, the width of your
derrière – it’s got a narrow cockpit and like the Mean above, a sit-in.
Here’s the manufacturer’s description:
Length: 14' 2"
Width: 20.5"
Depth: 11"
Weight: 36 lbs.
Material: Medium-density polyethylene.
Flotation: Bow airbag and stern bulkhead with six inch hatch.
Paddler Range: Children to small adults.
Usage: Touring/Weekend tripping.
Hull Configuration: Vee/ultra-shallow arched vee, slightly rockered,
asymmetric.
