Where Does the Rain Go?

An interesting program that tells where our rivers come from.

An interesting program to find out where rain goes. You drop a pin on a map of the US, and the program considers the topography and slope of the land, and maps where the water would go, and then provides an active map of the subsequent rivers it flows into until it reaches the sea.

It shows a map of the entire length of the journey.
Then it shows an animated video of the journey. This screen shot shows part of Cummins Creek where it flows into the Colorado river, near Columbus, TX.
