We met at the take out, Thomas Bell Foster, around 8 am. It was a cool morning, perfect for loading boats and gear into Fran’s truck. We drove to the put in, Brock Adventure Park, about a 15-minute drive.

We noticed that Thomas Bell Foster did have a porta potty.
Once we got to the put in, we used our kayak wheels to take the boats and gear to the put in. We stacked Fran’s boat on mine for the long walk from the parking lot to the put in. The bank was dry, but it was still awkward launching and getting into the boat. We were floating by 10:30.

We saw great white egrets, herons and a pair of belted king fishers.
The current is nonexistent, and we floated and paddled for about 3 hours to takeout. We did not see a spot along the way that could be used as a lunch spot.

At the take out we ate lunch before hauling boats and to the vehicles.
