Speaker:		"CHUCK" FALK
Description:		Join us as Chuck Falk talks about the use of common tech in Wilderness River Emergencies. Charles “Chuck” Falk has been a part of the paddling community for decades. He is a Level 2 ACA Coastal/Touring Kayak Instructor and Trip Leader. He started fixed wing aircraft instruction before age 15 and soloed on his 16th birthday. He was an active SCUBA instructor, a cave diver and an underwater photographer in the 70s. Charles has taught numerous underwater and land-based navigation courses using the simplest equipment. Before Global Positioning System was available to the public, he was flying an airplane, SCUBA diving and hiking with “paper and compass.” His formal education is in Electronics Engineering and Computer Control, with studies in Film Making and Photography. He retired as a Professional Photographer in 2020. He continues to be an avid Sailor and Boater. Chuck is on his second term as President of HASK and a member of HCC.
