Betty Walls notified us that Wayne Walls passed away on June 27, 2025.

Wayne and Betty Walls were founding members of the Houston Canoe Club, along with Paul Carr, Carl Gilson and many others. Wayne founded the Reeking  Regatta river race on Buffalo Bayou. Betty and Wayne also Started Texas Canoe Trails out fitters  and rented canoes and rafts.
