Join us as David Zambrano talks to us about river cleanups and the litter problems on Texas Rivers! David will discuss how he stumbled into river stewardship, the organizations he has assisted, and litter cleanups as an introduction to volunteer service.
David hails from San Antonio, and holds degrees in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He periodically travels to the American Southwest to take photos and lower his blood pressure.
He can reliably be found on or near a waterway somewhere in Texas, neglecting his paddle and plucking trash from the water. Most recently, he has been facilitating cleanups for the Trash Free Gulf campaign, and is frequently asked to speak to the litter problem from recreational river users in San Marcos, TX."
