The 2025 Buffalo Bayou Regatta was another hit. Big thanks to Trudi Smith for coordinating a fun filled day.

Several HCC and HASK members, and paddlers who were club members but are still paddling, participated.  Bob Scardino and Wendal Bordelon were also safety boaters, but I didn't get pictures of them. It was a brilliant day to be outside, partly cloudy with a cool breeze that kept the spectators comfortable.

HCC racers included Chris Clodfelter and Lydia Westbrook. Bruce Bodson, Harmon Everett, Brent Hwang, Mathew Hwang, and Robert Scaldino were safety boaters.There might be more be these are the only members that contacted me or that I saw at the takeout.

Constantin Platon was an outfitter for the race, Christy Long was at the take out taking pictures of HCC participants, Terry Herdlicka was supporting Harmon Everett and enjoying the day.
