Key Points -

• Upcoming Events: Watershed partnership meeting, trash bash cleanup, Texas Coalition conference.
• Financial Update: Slight decrease in balance due to our yearly liability insurance payment.
• Trip Coordination: Discussion on revisiting past paddling locations and providing shirts to new officers.
• Event Promotion: The canoe club is exploring ways to attract new members, including utilizing the CEC calendar, organizing a fall event, and increasing visibility at the Buffalo Bayou Paddle Trail.
• Event Logistics: A future race event is being planned, with discussions on logistics, sponsorship, and potential venues.
• Anniversary Celebration: A request was made for a $200 gift certificate or cash donation for HASKs club’s 25th anniversary celebration, which is expected to attract 60 people.
