Well, here’s a real “duh” and info I should have known a long time ago, but for those of us who maintain a subscription to the Houston Chronicle, their Weather page has lots of useful information for us paddlers. This information is included in the electronic version of the Houston Chronicle.
As you can see in the reports for August 16, 2023, there is good general information for Galveston Bay as well as current river and stream levels. We can get more detailed and up to the minute reporting from USGS and NOAA sources, but this is a nice one stop shopping tool.
