Susan Eda sent a photo to me, Christy Long, stating that it was the origin of the club's current logo.

She stated, "Warren Maull flipped the image, painted a large picture of it for himself, and created the logo for the HCC.

Notice the blue jeans and center truck innertube for floatation.  I (in stern) was paddling with the huge and heavy Blue Hole paddles. Kay  (in bow) has her trusty Mohawk paddle.  Werners and other paddles and foam/polypro, etc had not yet been invented.  We used pickle buckets taped up with duct tape for our dry bags."
