Your Houston Canoe Club wants you! 

 

Our website is languishing, and we need help.

 

You don’t have to have high end computing skills, but familiarity with websites, databases, and commercially produced and managed programs is a plus.

 

Our website is hosted by Club Express.  Their website is https://www.clubexpress.com/ if you would like to take a look around.  They host a lot of club websites and are well versed at dealing with managers who do not have the highest skills, as I can attest from personal experience.  There are many how-to videos available, and their help desk is quite good.

 

Here’s what the Webmaster will be dealing with:

• Primary interface with Club Express
• Maintain permissions and access to the Houston Canoe Club website application (Club Express)
• Informs the Board of updates of interest.  Attends webinars from Club Express as needed
  We use membership, calendar (event management), newsletter, club history, documents, photos, and communication applications.  Use of these apps is distributed among officers; webmaster does not have to do all of this.
• Updates the Web page for Houston Canoe Club
• Maintains the HCC Facebook application
