Long time HCC member Mary Zaborowski has passed away.

For many years Mary was one of the most active paddlers in the club, and also one of the most frequent trip leaders.  "Mary Z", as she was known, organized the Octpaddlefest event for many years, served as Vice Commodore for three years, cooked grand riverside meals on overnight camping trips, and was a veteran of many long expedition paddle trips. In recent years she has been living near the Neches River in the National Forest area.
