On Tuesday, July 7, a Zoom invitation will be posted to the HCC Facebook page and sent through the HCC website General Forum.
This invitation will provide a web link to the Zoom application. On July 8th, you will enter the provided meeting ID code and password to join the online meeting. You don't have to download the Zoom application to your computer if you don't want to - you can join in using your web browser.

Celeste Silling, Education & Outreach Manager with the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, will discuss how and why biologists research birds. In particular, she will focus on how researchers monitor birds both by land and kayak.
Celeste was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended Lawrence University in Wisconsin and received her Bachelor’s degree in biology in 2016. Focusing on her passions of conservation and education, she has worked a variety of research and education jobs. Working with birds and doing public education and outreach were always her favorite parts of these jobs. Celeste loves teaching people about the environment and enjoys nature in her free time!
