'Tis the season... for Christmas Parties!

The Houston Canoe Club held their Christmas party Saturday night, December 14th, at a very nice venue - the South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston. Good food was consumed, and a good time was had. We really need to extend this event to three hours, because we can't get everyone to leave after just two. 

The venue included plentiful, private, free, secure parking, a beautiful dining room, and an outdoor patio overlooking the home of the Houston Rockets basketball team.  All arranged by member Elizabeth Dennis who has worked there for 32 years.  HCC board members Frank Ohrt and Bob Naeger provided logistical support, supplies and set-up. And there were many contributors of food.  The alligator cookies and scalloped potatoes were among the favorites.
