Vice Commodore Dan Roy has been working hard with the programming committee to come up with informative and entertaining programs for our monthly general membership meetings. The Program Committee consists of Bruce Bodson, Tom Douglas, David Portz, Dan Roy and Natalie Wiest.

Here is a preview of HCC meeting speakers we have lined up for the future.

March 13		uBecki Begley – River, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash uBob Spain -  Canoe racing Hall of famer and author from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept.  Bob will speak about his canoeing guide book and about Texas Paddling Trails.
April 10		uProfessor Antonietta S. Quigg - Senior Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies Department of Marine Biology Texas A&M Galveston Antonietta will speak about phytoplankton - these microscopic plants have a disproportionate impact on our environment since they are at the bottom of the food chain from which a long list of creatures benefit.
May 8		uDan Oko – Journalist, writer, outdoors man Tales from an accidental Texas waterman, investigating his relationship to wild waters in Texas and across the West.
June 12		uCharrish Stevens - Fish and Wildlife Biologist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
July 10		uWilliam Hajdik - ISA Certified Arborist, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation City of Sugar Land
August 14		uDavid Heinicke - Park Naturalist / state park police Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, Brazos Bend State Park
