A memorial service will be on January 26, 2019, at Chancellor's Fitness Center at 535 Dumfries Drive, Houston, Texas 77096 at 1 PM. We will celebrate his life by telling stories, dining together and drinking beer. Tributes Fraser Baker: Bill was an outstanding trip leader. He was always first on the scene of an upcoming rapid and placed himself in the rapid where he could provide the most help guiding newbies like me past the rocks. Besides loving white water, he actively supported Donna's Kids paddles on the San Marcos as shown in the photograph where he launched the kids into a safe rope swing. In the evening around the campfire, he would often accompany songs with his guitar. Photos Click to enlarge, Esc or "X" to clear.
