Mark Andrus will be presenting an exciting program on cruise ship paddling trips, to include Alaska, Nova Scotia, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Belize and Costa Rica. He has been a member of the Houston Canoe Club for 30 years and served as Vice Commodore from 1999-2000. He has also served the Southwest Canoe Rendezvous as treasurer and board member. Mark was at every Rendezvous that was held from 1989 to 2001. His Texas paddling includes 7 full Pecos trips, 6 Boquillas trips and a trip down the Lower Canyons of the Rio Grande. He also started paddling with the Bayou City Whitewater Club.
Mark is an attorney and CPA with a solo law practice in Angleton, TX. He has previously been a board member of the Texas River Protection Association and donated legal work for TRPA’s acquisition of Hidalgo Falls.
