The Commodore piped the meeting to order. She called attention to the pre-meeting dinner at Cafe Piquet, and the post-meeting dinner at Jax's, for those who were still hungry. She moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting, and it was seconded and approved. She then introduced the officers, all of whom were present.
The Purser gave the month’s financial report, after a fashion. We’re OK for another month. He asked the members for suggestions for replacing the club’s Certificate of Deposit with an instrument with greater returns than the CD.

Board Meeting
April 5th, 2017
Bayland Park Community Center
Recorder: Frank Ohrt
The Commodore, Honey Leveen, polled the Board of Directors the week before the scheduled meeting, and no urgent need was seen to hold a Board meeting, as the club's affairs are all in order. So, the scheduled April 5th Board meeting was cancelled.
