Speaker:		Lynne Andrus
Description:		Former Houstonian Lynne Andrus comes to us from Austin, TX, where she is an RN with a PhD on patient safety and quality who works for a large not-for-profit hospital system and teaches at a university. Canoe and kayak instruction was her first opportunity to teach. She has a level 3 whitewater canoe and level 4 kayak ACA instructor rating and plans to regain her coastal kayak instructor rating. Lynne will touch on the HCC's award-winning past and possible future role in promoting ACA paddling instruction. Lynne's program will cover kayaking from a mother ship (40+' sailboat) in the Channel Islands off California and the Windward Islands in the Caribbean, with photos on the boats, islands and people.
