"Cullinan Park development donations top $1 million" (Sugar Land, TX)
"Sugar Land City Council recently approved a contribution of more than $573,700 from the Cullinan Park Conservancy. The contribution builds on $500,000 provided from the Conservancy last year for the future development of Cullinan Park - 754 acres of mostly inaccessible forest and wetlands north of Sugar Land Regional Airport. "Part of the San Antonio River Walk is now an official Texas Paddling Trail" (San Antonio, TX)
"An 8-mile stretch along the San Antonio River Walk has been designated an official state paddling trail, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department announced Thursday. The San Antonio River Walk: Mission Reach Paddling Trail features stops at the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and four UNESCO World Heritage Sites during the 3-to-5-hour trip, a news release states. "Great white shark circles Hawaii fisherman's kayak for over an hour" (Hawaii)
