Choosing the Right Boat for You
As we venture out into the various kinds of water and conditions that we encounter on our little expeditions, we can make almost any canoe or kayak work, as long as it doesn’t leak. That said, there are very clear advantages to matching the watercraft to the conditions, when possible. Conversely, there are some very clear disadvantages to some combinations. This presentation focuses on what Kent has learned from his experiences with a dozen or so Craig’s List boats, numerous rentals, five major categories of water and some of his engineering background considering “what the water sees”, materials and practical applications.
