There is a change coming in the Board position for Purser, the club treasurer. Bob Naeger is moving to Phoenix, Arizona to be near his children and grandchildren, and has already sold his home in Sugar Land. Kent Walters, one of the club's most active paddlers, has agreed to take over from Bob as the new Purser, and has been so appointed by Commodore Honey Leveen to fulfill the remainder of Bob's term for 2016.

We wish all the best to Bob in his new locale, thank him for his years of service as our financial steward, and for his wise advice on the Board of Directors.  We hope he sends us some paddling trip reports from Arizona.
