What is your favorite place to paddle?
A lake that is shallow enough for me to stand up after I flip over.

Do you prefer a canoe or a kayak?  Yes.

Do you use a single blade or double blade paddle?  Yes

What do you like most about the sport?
The paddle. It is a good work out for the arms and shoulder.

What do you like least about the sport?
Getting wet.

What is an important safety tip?
Pay attention to where you are. Don’t paddle and yak, you might find yourself alone and don’t know how to get back.

Why do you paddle?
Because there is no motor on my kayak. Which is why I paddle, it is quiet.

If you could do a fantasy tandem paddle with anyone you wish, with whom would it be?
Sandra Bullock and I won’t go into it any further.

  San Marcos dam
What was your worst moment ever?

When Ben Kavanli, an Olympic kayaker and white water instructor, told me I had to go over that dam in a kayak..

What was your best moment ever in a canoe?
Going over that dam in my kayak.

Anything else you would like to say?
I love the good people at HCC and really should paddle more with them.
